On Saturday, we got down to the business of brewing beer. Finally. After about 10 hours of hard work, the first batch of Pawtucket Pail Ale is in the fermenter! I don’t mind saying that it smells fantastic, even before fermenting. We hope to get a batch of the Kolsch going within a week as well.
Throughout the day, we had visitors come in to check the place out. First up was an early visit by Ethan from the Valley Breeze. Ethan shot some video and interviewed me for an article updating the world on our progress. You can read the article and see the video at the Valley Breeze website.
Justin and Keri from our web team Keri Marion Design stopped by later in the day to hang out and take some photos (I’ll get those up on here soon). We had a good time talking about the brewing process and they found use for the day’s spent grains at the community gardens off Gano Street.
That’s it for now… stay tuned and I’ll keep posting updates as they happen.
